Problem
You have a member server, or client on which you want to install the administration tools.
Solution
1. On a computer running the final release of Windows Vista with SP1.
2. Download the RSAT package from the Microsoft Web site.

3. Double-click the downloaded package to start the Setup wizard. Follow the instructions in the wizard to complete the installation.
4. Click Start > run > appwiz.cpl {enter} > Turn Windows features on or off > If you are prompted to provide permission by User Account Control, click Continue.
5. In the Windows Features dialog box, select the “Remote Server Administration Tools” snap-ins > OK.
To Place Administration Tools on the start menu
1. Right click Start Menu > Properties.
2. On the Start Menu tab > Customize.
3. Scroll down to System Administrative Tools > Tick “Display on the All Programs menu and the Start menu.”
4. OK > Apply > OK
