Problem

I while ago I did this for an ML330, so while I had the lid of a new DL380, I thought I’d take note of where it was. As the next one I do probably won’t be the performance model, and I’ll be trying to work out where the the cable routes.

Solution

The battery clips onto to the fan cowling (left hand side – from the front). The cable is routed as shown.
