Problem
You may see a ‘warning triangle’ over one of your VM’s, and on its summary page you see the following;
Virtual machine disks consolidation is needed.
Virtual machine Consolidation Needed status.
Solution
Basically theres a problem with the machine snapshots, If you right click the VM > Snapshots > Consolidate.
Yes – Job done, that was easy.
