Problem
While trying to set up a samba share, I got the following error today.
Error:
W: Failed to fetch http://ubuntu.retrosnub.co.uk/ubuntu/pool/main/s/samba/samba_3.5.4~dfsg-1ubuntu8.2_amd64.deb 404 Not Found W: Failed to fetch http://ubuntu.retrosnub.co.uk/ubuntu/pool/main/s/samba/libpam-smbpass_3.5.4~dfsg-1ubuntu8.2_amd64.deb 404 Not Found
Solution
1. Open a terminal window (Applications > Accessories > Terminal) and issue the following command,
sudo apt-get update
2. Tap in your password and let it update, then retry to install Samba.
