Solution

On access Transport Scanner Failed to Initialise

Cause: Groupsheild (V 6.0 on Server 2003 usually)

Fix:
Dont Bother

From McAfee Tech Support kb 38892

"This non-fatal error occurs when TransportScan.dll is loaded into the system memory and Groupsheild service is not ready for scanning"

Comments:
I Logged a call to NAI and was told that they would not give me a fix for this error and I was to ignore it - to which I replied if it can safely be ignored then why is it erroring to the event log?

To date no sensible answer has been forthcoming............
