  Dated 10/11/09
  Revision 0.01

Event ID 3006

Problem
Event ID 3006
Solution

Unable to read the performance counter strings of the 011 language ID. The Win32 status returned by the call is the first DWORD in Data section.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

Cause:
All performance counter names and explain text are maintained in string tables managed by the performance counter subsystem (Perflib). The string table for the language identified by the language ID is missing. This file might have been accidentally deleted. To correct the problem, rebuild the string tables.

Fix:

1. Start > Run > cmd {enter}
2. Lodctr /r {enter}
